WEEKLY AWARDS

CO-COACH OF THE WEEK: Roy Williams, North Carolina and Leonard Hamilton, Florida State
The Tar Heels had a pair of big wins, beating Virginia in a rout, followed by the big victory at Duke. Williams is my choice for national Coach of the Year. The Seminoles enhanced their tournament chances with wins over Duke and Miami.

TEAM OF THE WEEK: Seton Hall
The Pirates, after struggling against the likes of DePaul and St. John's, bounced back over Cincinnati and at Pittsburgh. Louis Orr's team really improved its chances for an NCAA berth.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Joakim Noah, Florida
He had a big week, with 37 points and 11 rebounds vs. Georgia, including 19 of 22 from the foul line. He then came through against Kentucky at Rupp Arena, hitting six of eight shots, scoring 15 points while grabbing 11 rebounds for Billy Donovan's club.

DIAPER DANDY OF THE WEEK: Tyler Hansbrough, North Carolina
He has been the impact freshman of the year all season and his 27-point, 12-rebound effort vs. Duke was outstanding.

SHOCK OF THE WEEK: South Florida over Georgetown
There were a number of surprises, including DePaul's large margin over Syracuse. The Bulls got their first Big East win of the season at the expense of a talented Georgetown team
