Welcome to ESPN.com's moderated chat room. On Tuesday, April 17, Houston Comets forward Sheryl Swoopes dropped by to take your questions. Swoopes, who has already helped her team to three WNBA championships in four years, is coming off a banner 2000 season in which she was voted the Most Valuable Player, Defensive Player of the Year and was the league's leading vote-getter during the 2000 WNBA All-Star balloting. Swoopes was a member of the U.S. National Team participating in the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia and she won gold with the 1996 USA Women's Olympic Team at the Atlanta Games. Tina and I are good friends but we don't do a whole lot of things together. We give each other the respect on the court as well as off the court. I think there are some great players coming out this year. The worst thing about winning a championship is you get the last draft pick. So for that reason we probably will not get the best players coming out. I personally like Ruth Riley, Jackie Stiles, Tamika Catchings, and Svetlana Abrosimova. Yee Haw!!!! I think what the women's soccer team has done for not only soccer but women's sports in general, is a huge accomplishment for us all. I feel very blessed to be able to do what I love. It has been a long hard road but all of the hard work is beginning to pay off.
