The Ravens are the seventh wild card team to make the Super Bowl. Two of the previous six won the title, Oakland in 1981 and Denver in 1998.

Here's a look at the six other Wild Card teams and how they fared:

Dallas (10-4 in regular season) lost to Pittsburgh 21-17 in 1976 Super Bowl.

Oakland (11-5) beat Philadelphia 27-10 in 1981.

New England (11-5) lost to Chicago 46-10 in 1986.

Buffalo (11-5) lost to Dallas 52-17 in 1993.

Denver (12-4) beat Green Bay 31-24 in 1998.

Tennessee (13-3) lost to St. Louis 23-16 in 2000.

Note: Before the wild-card format was established, Kansas City of the AFL was a second-place team that went on to the 1970 Super Bowl and beat Minnesota.
