NEW YORK -- Vitali Klitschko weighed in Thursday at 250 pounds for his heavyweight fight with Kirk Johnson, who was a career-high 260 pounds.

Klitschko was 2 pounds heavier than he was when he fought Lennox Lewis for the heavyweight title in June. Johnson was 17 pounds heavier than he was in his last two fights.

For the undercard fight Saturday night at Madison Square Garden, unbeaten Joe Mesi weighed 237½ pounds to 215 for Monte Barrett.
